About Me
Hi, my name is Elayna Bailey. I am the youngest of four siblings (two brothers and a sister). I am a senior at Faith Bible Christian Academy in Rosamond where I am involved in volleyball, cheer, and theater. I have been active in 4-H for over nine years and participated in a variety of areas such as cooking, sewing, and art. I am actively involved in my youth group and children’s church ministry at First Baptist Church in Pana where I attend with my family. After highschool I intend to earn a bachelor’s degree and go into the medical or veterinary field. I am excited to be a part of the Christian County CEO program this year! I am looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone, building my confidence, and improving my speaking and people skills. I am also eager to learn more about business, meet new people, and grow as an individual. I have heard so many good things about CEO from my friends and siblings and can't wait to see how this experience helps me better understand and connect with my community.
About My Business
Hi! My name is Elayna Bailey, and I am a senior at Faith Bible Christian Academy and the founder of Ellie’s Textiles & Tea, a business that creates handmade, reusable tea wallets designed to store up to 6 individual, unbrewed tea bags in a portable and organized way. In addition, we offer a variety of plastic-free, health-conscious teas, and fabric bookmarks, creating a cohesive product line, perfect for gifts. Each item is handmade and focuses on quality of craftsmanship, sustainability, and thoughtful designs. I have always loved curling up with a good book and a warm cup of tea. Ellie’s Textiles & Tea is my way of sharing that passion with others. Through my business I hope to bring a sense of warmth and comfort into my customers’ everyday lives, whether at home or on the go.
