I graduated from St. Louis University with a degree in Medical Technology.

Before retiring at end of 2025, I was a Clinical Lab Facilitator at HSHS Medical Group. 

Prior to my last facility, I worked in Clinical Labs at Springfield Clinic, Taylorville Memorial Hospital, Rush University Medical Center, Missouri Baptist Medical Center and St. Louis University Hospital.  I also did some specialized work at Springfield Clinic Lab as a Chemical Hygiene Officer and as a superuser/administrator for web-based procedure storage and compliance confirmation.

I met my husband at St. Louis University.  After we married, we moved first to Chicago for additional education and then to his hometown, Taylorville.

I have developed a great affection for my adopted hometown and have been involved and on boards of a number of local entities - including CEO where I am the current board chair.  I am passionate about this program because it has the greatest potential to be transformative in the lives of individual students and to contribute to the health and well-being of the community that I cherish.

Born and raised in Christian County, I am a local entrepreneur focusing on Sales, Logistics, and Exports.  Additionally I've been known to fix up local rundown properties to do my part to revitalize the downtown area.  I have been a co-coordinator of the Taylorville Food Pantry since 2017, and helping with Mentoring in one shape of another since 2021.
