About Me

Hello, My name is David Schafer and I will be a senior at Taylorville high school. I have lived in Taylorville most of my life but moved to Little Flower Catholic school in Springfield after 5th grade then moved back when I started freshman year of high school. I have participated in the Taylorville cross country and track team since freshman year. I also attended the LLCC program half the day to help me prepare for life after high school. After high school I plan on attending college to further my academic career and to hopefully continue my athletic career in track and field. I hope to get my bachelor degree in criminal justice to help me on my lifelong dream of becoming a cop to help protect and serve my community. I hope to learn more about the business world and how it works from the inside point of things and hopefully learn how to make a successful business along the way. I have been excited about the CEO program after I found out about it sophomore year from old friends that also went through the program.

About My Business

Hello, my name is David Schafer, and I’m a senior at Taylorville High School. I am the founder and CEO of David’s Creations, a small business specializing in custom wood signs, handcrafted cutting boards, and unique 3D-printed products. Our wood signs are fully customizable and finished with a durable epoxy coating to ensure they stay protected against the elements, like rain and snow. Our cutting boards are crafted from a blend of 2–3 different wood tones and treated with food-grade oil to keep your kitchen prep safe. To help you maintain that professional look, each board comes with a small block of beeswax to keep the wood looking sharp. We also offer a specialized selection of 3D-printed items, including our custom deer skulls. These are a great, cost-effective alternative for mounting your prize antlers; rather than paying hundreds for a traditional mount, you can simply attach your antlers to our 3D-printed skull for a high-quality display.
