Emma Pennock

About Me

Hi! My name is Emma Pennock and I am currently a senior attending Taylorville High School. My parents are Sara Pennock and Bob Pennock who have both pushed me to be the best version of myself while growing up.

I enjoy participating in school and community activities. For example, I am in National Honors Society, Key Club, and Purple Rein at the High School. I have also worked at the food pantry since I was in middle school. I work at Angelos Pizza here in town and I have learned some great “people skills” from working there for two years.

I first started getting interested in CEO when I started making and selling jewelry during quarantine. I feel that this program will be a great way to expand and learn more about my business. The Christian County CEO Program offers me so many different opportunities to grow myself and my business.

I plan to go to an out of state college after graduation and study to become an Occupational Therapist. I have always wanted to find a way to help others in my future career and I feel that this option will be both successful and rewarding!

About My Business

My name is Emma Pennock and I am a 2022 graduate of Taylorville High School. I will be attending Southeast Missouri State University in the fall to obtain my Bachelors Degree.

I have been involved in Volleyball, Track, Key Club, National Honors Society, and Purple Reign throughout my high school career. With the help of the CEO Program and my mentor, Katie White, I have been able to grow my business skill and small business exponentially!

My CEO business is named Ep Jewelz. I started this business in 2020 and have continued throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic. I aim to create and sell unique jewelry for women all over and around Taylorville, IL.
