About Me

Hi, my name is Drew Mickey and I am a senior at Taylorville High School. I have spent my time growing up on our fifth generation family farm where we raise corn, soybeans, wheat, and Angus cattle. This has built my passion for agriculture and later motivated me to join the Blue Ribbon 4-H Club and Taylorville FFA Chapter, where I currently serve as president of both organizations. Furthermore, in my high school career I have been able to expand my horizons in other organizations such as National Honor Society serving the community, as well as TommyTV serving on the Tommy Awards Committee and assisting in livestreams. Additionally, I have maintained a strong grade point average throughout high school. After graduation, I plan to utilize the strong passion I have built for animal agriculture and pursue a degree in animal science at a four year university, while competing at a high level on the meat and livestock judging teams. I am excited to be a part of the Christian County CEO program and take advantage of the opportunities presented to me!
