Summer Brandis

About Me

My name is Summer Brandis. I am a senior at Taylorville High School. I am the daughter of Mike and Robin Brandis. I have two older siblings Tyler and Brooke Brandis. I have lived in Taylorville my entire life. I went to St.Mary's Catholic School in Taylorville. I have played volleyball at Springfield Shock Volleyball Club since I was eleven years old. I have not only learned how to play volleyball but have learned many life lessons since I started playing. For example, volleyball has taught me teamwork, commitment, and leadership skills.I also play basketball at Taylorville High School. One valuable skill playing sports has taught me is time management. Having to go to school and play sports can sometimes be a challenge but it is also very rewarding. I have been rewarded with the Apollo Conference All-Academic Team and AAU Academic All-American. My other school activities are Student Council Executive Board, Purple Reign Executive Board, and National Honor Society. My goals for the future are to play college volleyball and study education. My lifetime dreams are to coach volleyball and open a volleyball club. I joined CEO to further my knowledge in business and communication skills. 

About My Business

My name is Summer Brandis and I am a senior at Taylorville High School. Throughout high school I have been very involved in clubs and sports such as volleyball, basketball, student council executive board, purple reign executive board, national honor society, and Springfield Shock Volleyball Club. After graduating high school I plan to further my education and volleyball career at Illinois College in Jacksonville. 

My love for volleyball has been huge since the first day I picked up a volleyball. I have learned endless life lessons throughout my seven years of playing school and club volleyball. With Summer’s Lessons I plan to share the life lessons I have learned. I want to grow and teach the future generations of volleyball players one lesson at a time.
