We had the privilege last week to spend two incredible days in Chicago! During our visit, we met with three inspiring Taylorville natives and entrepreneurs — Blake Hooper, Bill Barry, and Dan Barry.

Our first stop was Holland & Knight, where we had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Blake Hooper and Kyle Gaughan to learn about the world of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and what it takes to thrive in the fast-paced business environment of Chicago. Blake shared valuable insight into his professional journey from his roots in Taylorville to his current role in one of the city’s top law firms. We truly appreciated the time and effort took out of their busy schedule to meet with us and for the warm hospitality that made us feel right at home.
