What a night to remember!
On Monday, we had the honor of holding our end-of-the-year banquet at Bill Kennedy’s beautiful house. Even more special, we were blessed to hear from three incredible speakers: Sue Schafer, Bill Kennedy, and Austin Brooks.
Sue Schafer shared a powerful lesson using a simple story about a carrot, an egg, and a coffee bean. Each one responds differently to “hot water” — or life’s challenges. The carrot softens, the egg hardens, but the coffee bean? It transforms the water into something better. The takeaway: Be the coffee bean. Embrace challenges, and change your environment for the better.
We were truly surrounded by so many amazing coffee beans that evening — including Sue Schafer, Bill Kennedy, Austin Brooks, and Adam Vocks. We’re so thankful to have ended our year on such a high note.
A huge thank you to Mr. Kennedy for hosting us, and to our wonderful speakers for inspiring us all!
