CEO Alumni Updates

Christian County CEO Alumni Myah Herbord says, "So many wonderful things have happened in my life since I graduated CEO."  Currently, Myah is 2016 Miss Christian County Fair Queen and she says CEO gave her the confidence to compete.  Myah is a sophomore at Lake Land College in Mattoon and will receive her Associate in Business Administration this summer. After the summer, Myah plans to attend Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville to study Accountancy and obtain a CPA, and possibly a MBA.  Myah's CEO Business, MH Photography, is going quite well.  Myah reports. "Although I am slowing it down a bit to focus on my education, I still continue this business and maintain a profit." Myah also plans to work part-time as a teller at a bank in her hometown of Pana.  My states, "So many incredible opportunities have blessed me since becoming a CEO Alumni and I know that without CEO none of my accomplishments would have been possible! Thank you to all of the investors, mentors, current and future students, the CEO Board, and Mr. Adams for encouraging this program and giving me a lifetime of experiences in one amazing year. God bless you all!"

Christian County CEO Alumni Jessica Winter says, "It has been nearly a year since I graduated from the CEO Program in 2016. It is crazy how fast the time has gone by.  Jessica is a freshman at Lake Land College majoring in Agriculture  Business. Jessica reports, "CEO really helped me exceed in my first year of college. I believe I was more prepared for college than I would have been had I not been a part of CEO."  Jessica's business, DKJ Customs has grown and some orders have even shipped to Canada and Europe.  Jessica reports, "I have had more clients these first five months of 2017 than ever, and I am booked until July. Through networking skills I learned in CEO I was able to grow my business. Recently I was a featured designer in the American Paint Horse Journal where two of my ads were displayed. Things are going well for my business, and I plan to continue to grow. I am so happy to still be involved in the CEO program. I made so many wonderful friends in the program and we all stay pretty connected even though we all have went our separate ways. Congrats to the class of 2017 on all of your accomplishments and good luck to the new class of 2018!"
